A healthcare directory for finding doctors in the Philippines by location, specialty and schedule, then booking an appointment.

→Patients search providers by location, specialisation and date, then book and pay for appointments

Hi, I'm Christian.

I'm a senior software engineer from the Philippines. I started out building business solutions for Sharp Electronics and transaction systems at IBM, ran CI/CD and infrastructure as a DevOps engineer, led teams as a project lead, and for the last several years have built full stack products for remote teams in Australia, Europe and the US.

I graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Computer Science from Bicol University and was named Most Outstanding Graduating Student. I'm also a Certified Scrum Master, so the way a project runs matters to me as much as the code.

FAQ

Before you ask.

Do you take full-time roles as well as projects?+

Yes. I've spent most of my career embedded in product teams, and I'm open to both full-time remote roles and well-scoped contract work.

Can you work on our existing codebase?+

Absolutely. Much of my work has been improving, maintaining and migrating existing systems, including rewriting a Laravel application in NodeJS while it stayed in use.

Which stacks are you strongest in?+

Node.js (NestJS, Next.js), PHP (Laravel) and React with TypeScript are my daily drivers, backed by MySQL, MongoDB and Redis. I'm also comfortable in Rails, Django, C#, Java and Go.

Which time zones can you cover?+

I'm in UTC+8. That's a full overlap with Australia and Southeast Asia, and comfortable mornings or evenings for the US and Europe. For launches or incidents I'm flexible.

Can you lead a team, not just write code?+

Yes. I've worked as a project lead and I'm a Certified Scrum Master, so I can run sprints, mentor developers and keep delivery on schedule.
